It is a good place for some inexpensive beverages and a mellow night. I highly suggest heading there on "Smiths Night" to see a couple of dozen Morrissey look-a-likes. It's fascinating.
The El Rey is a little theatre in Los Angeles, on La Cienaga. It has a really cool artwork deco atmosphere. The balcony is a cozy atmosphere with couches. There is a extremely big, rectangular floor area. A few of actions up there is a level surrounding the floor with chairs and a couple of tables. It's absolutely nothing fancy, but it is a "kick-back again and relax" type of venue to see a display. We have noticed mostly nearby bands play right here, but it is generally a great show.
