St. Patrick's Working day is subsequent Thursday, but the festivities really kick off on Saturday, with the yearly Bath Blarney Days parade. Only in its 3rd yr, Blarney Times has become a bona fide event for the City of Ships. The parade starts at 11:00 a.m., rolling via the heart of downtown with a the typical marching bands and fire trucks complemented by pipe bands for the vacation. Distinctive to the Tub parade are the Pub Scouts, a kazoo band with headquarters at Byrnes Irish Pub. Issues will get loud insida, as the Maine Public Security Pipe & Drum Corps will entertain during the afternoon. What do you see happening for you in your career? And what's subsequent for Shurman? The Wiltern is located in Los Angeles on the corner of Wilshire and Western (therefore the title. Clever, huh?). This location is Huge, but it still has the feel of a little club. It used to be much more a conventional theatre, with set seats, but most of the seats have been removed. There are now 5 tiers on the flooring level, and several seats up in the balcony. The nice thing about the tiers is that they can pack a lot of people in, and everybody nonetheless has a pretty good view of the phase. The Roxy is a much smaller sized club than the golf equipment formerly mentioned, which can be really nice. The room has sort of an interesting set-up. It is a wide stage, placed diagonally, taking up about fifty percent the space. It is an all ages location, but there is a decent (although costly) bar. Madiba: Consume for totally free if you order lunch or supper. Live Music rocks until 11pm. The whole street of Dekalb in Fort Greene will be partying for this incredible occasion, so be sure to pick up t-shirts, cds and other memorabilia. The El Rey is a little theatre in Los Angeles, on La Cienaga. There is a very large, rectangular flooring area. A couple of steps up there is a level surrounding the flooring with chairs and a couple of tables. It's absolutely nothing fancy, but it is a "kick-back and relax" type of venue to see a show. We have seen mainly local bands perform right here, but it is generally a good show. The bar is not that expensive either, although they do not have the greatest selection.
